Aconteceu neste mês de setembro a premiação da Dragon Con, a “Dragon Awards“, em Atlanta, Georgia, que por conta da pandemia do coronavírus ocorreu de maneira digital, por votação popular, a premiação não conta com membros dentro da organização.
Para a surpresa, há artistas brasileiros levando esse prêmio, com a edição da revista Battlestar Galactica: Counterstrike, da Dynamite Comics, com roteiro do autor John Jackson Miller, arte de Daniel HDR e cores de colorista Natália Marques, na categoria “Melhor Graphic Novel“.

A disputa foi entre “Batman Universe”, de Brian Michael Bendis e Nick Derington; Black Bolt, Christian Ward, Frazier Irving e Stephanie Hans; Dragon Hoops, por Gene Luen Yang; Mister Miracle, do Tom King e Mitch Gerads; e Something is Killing the Children Vol. 1 por James Tynion IV e Werther Dell’Edera.
